Building Stronger Communities Together
Supporting Gambian and Black & Minority Ethnic communities across Glasgow and Scotland — through culture, mentorship, wellbeing and celebration.
Who We Are
A volunteer-led charity dedicated to supporting and empowering Gambian and BME communities in Scotland.
Our Story
GAMSCA was established in 2010 by members of the Scottish Gambian community, many of whom have settled in Glasgow. We are entirely volunteer-led, operating from fundraising and small charity grant awards.
Our Mission
We work towards the development and integration of Gambian and other Black and Minority Ethnic communities throughout Scotland, promoting cultural enrichment with a focus on assisting families facing challenges.
Our Vision
To foster a stronger, more connected community for all individuals and families. We develop events designed around sustaining communities and promoting Gambian cultural heritage across Scotland.
